<aside> 🥰 Hello, long time no see :) Happy New year! Here are my updates about the life in Lausanne. I appreciate all of your support, encouragement, and prayer. I want to share how God has faithfully led me and what he has shown to me in 2023.

Psalm 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
DBS is a school where you read the whole 66 books of the Bible in 3 months, learning about God’s redemptive plan throughout the whole book and you search God’s character and nature. Just as the name of the school, we learn the Bible not only for gaining the knowledge, but also for knowing the life of a Jesus’ disciple. And it is also an invitation of God into the intimate relationship.
12 weeks, somehow, it was short but long. Students learned that they were misunderstanding about God, knowing that how different images they had before about him. And it led them to reconcile the relationship with God and to equip themselves to live in the world with the biblical worldview.
In studying the Bible again, students learned how to view the Bible. When you see the characters in the Bible, there’s none of normal and decent people except Jesus. God, nevertheless, uses the useless and shows his wonderful redemptive plan, that can’t be explained within a mere word ‘grace’. Once you learn about the cultures, literature style in that time and historical context, you’ll feel God’s delicacy expressing His Heart towards mankind.
In Q1, we had 13 students and 5 staffs, and in Q4, 24 students and 8 staffs.
It was such a privilege to know them and see how precious their heart was to know God more and more.
After DBS in q1, I began to question to myself how should I serve the students from different cultures and nations. So I decided to join the school named MLD(Ministry & Leadership Development). Through this school, I got a chance to learn that “leadership is not about position”. Book recommendation! “The way of the shepherd”, with it, I learned so much about godly leadership and how to steward my gifts/skills that God has given to me.
Learning more about “Servant leadership”, God stirred my heart up to ponder about how to champion young leaders and how to lead them to live as a disciple. And also, last 2 years, I haven’t shared any updates but I began to think about writing to share God that I found and learned so that I could encourage my friends and supporters.
