If someone ask me about this year, I would say four things. God has restored my personal relationship with Him, healed my physical sickness and emotional pain. Also, he has called me into the mission field again. And he challenged me to love, forgive and to be forgiven.
I thought it would be not easy to be a missionary again in my life. But God, who has full of mercy, has a plan and never gives up. It took 2 years to recover, but God waited for me to walk this journey with him. So I want to participate to build the Bible school in YWAM and to expand the Kingdom of God through this community.
When I was 18, God has given me his vision of Matthew 28 : The Great Commission. So I got a training at KCCC (Korean Campus Crusade for Christ) and learned how to take care of people.
“How can I help people to be more intimate with God?” ”How Can I help people to know God more?”
While I was praying for this, God showed me the Bible. Through the Bible, I could see His redemptive plan and His desperate love for His people. I couldn't help but feel His steadfast love.
God showed me the way to teach and share the Word. Whenever I went through some hardship, I could always overcome through the Word. As 2 Tim 3:16-17 says, God raised me with his word, let me repent and turn back to him, taught me how to pray for my country, and above all, made us realize what God has done for us.
So I want to join this amazing work to serve people and community with His word.
BIBLE SCHOOL
After completing the five-month Discipleship Training School (DTS), the basic required course at YWAM University of the Nations, students can choose to attend a secondary school. The Secondary School includes a number of different schools, such as communication, counseling, Bible, and worship schools. Three Bible schools (Discipleship Bible School, Discipleship School, and Bible Core School) are held each semester in Lausanne, Switzerland.
When I finished campus ministry in Korea, I was not sure of myself to serve the ministry again. To be honest, I had no expectation to myself. However, since I went to DTS, God waited for me and restored me to respond his calling through the Bible schools.
God’s dream that poured into my heart is to make his disciples in every nation and tribe. (Matt 28:18-20) It has never faded away in my life, but grown bigger and bigger so that I could have a heart for the youth and the lost.
God allowed me to have deeper understanding for the Bible, to discover his wonderful heart and heart towards his People so that I can serve the youth who are eager to learn his word. I cannot do by myself, but I need a partner who can walk with. I believe in God who will work in every quarter to change his people and make his disciple.
19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. (Matthew 18:19)
